What exactly is a queen bed? A queen size bed has a width of 120 or 140 cm. Wider than a single bed, but narrower than a double bed. A queen bed is ideal if a guest regularly stays overnight, or if mom or dad also want to lie comfortably if, for example, your child has had a nightmare. Also ideal if you want to make the switch from a single bed to a slightly larger bed. Do you want to make the most of the space under the bed? Drawers can be placed under some queen beds.
