Wallpaper like a Pro:
Your manual
1. Make sure the surface is smooth, clean and evenly white. Do not apply over old wallpaper. Remove pencil marks beforehand because they can remain visible on light wallpaper.
2. Cut the wallpaper strips neatly and place them in the correct order in a pile to check the image or pattern before you start.
3. Apply the wallpaper paste evenly to the wall with a brush or roller, applying slightly more than the width of one strip. For convenience, you can use the Perfax pink Roll-on in a box or ready-made Perfax pink Ready & Roll in a bucket.
4. Apply the first strip perpendicular to the wall. Make sure to leave some extra cutting margin at both the top and bottom. Gently smooth the strip with your hands or a clean wallpaper spatula to remove air bubbles. You can remove the wallpaper and correct it if it does not hang perfectly straight away.
5. Place the next strips in the same way, making sure they lie tightly against each other without overlapping.
6. Remove any adhesive residue immediately with a damp cloth and dry carefully with a clean, dry cloth.
7. Allow the wallpaper to dry completely before proceeding. Trim away any excess wallpaper using a sharp utility knife and a ruler for a neat finish.
