Bed Jamie consists of sturdy beech and is finished with a water-based lacquer. The fence around provides a safe place to sleep. The two small gates can be separated separately. Mattress not included, including slatted base. A Montessori bed is a floor bed and named after the philosophy of pediatrician and educationalist Maria Montessori. With a floor bed, the child can easily and safely learn to get in and out of bed on their own.
